In the heart of Downtown Jersey City, this project dramatically transformed a dilapidated townhouse into an elegant 3-unit high-end residential property. The building was thoughtfully arranged so that each unit offers dedicated outdoor space: Unit 1 has access to the rear yard, Unit 2 features a rear balcony, and Unit 3 is deeded a full rooftop terrace with native plantings and stunning views of the developing neighborhood.
Brick was chosen as the primary material to complement the surrounding neighborhood context, while Phenolic Panels were used as a secondary material to provide a sustainable contrast to the brick. Select wood elements were incorporated to add a sense of dignity and warmth, enhancing the overall character and inviting ambiance of the residences.
