This project employs a variety of thoughtful design strategies to distinguish itself while harmonizing with its surroundings. Special attention was given to the exterior façade, ensuring it complements the scale, proportions, and materiality of neighboring buildings, creating a cohesive streetscape.
The narrow lot prompted innovative planning to maximize usable square footage while enhancing natural lighting within the interior spaces. A unique feature of the design is a carefully crafted "fake façade," designed to match the adjacent structures. This element serves as a privacy barrier for the front patios and balconies, shielding them from street view while maintaining a harmonious exterior aesthetic.
The privacy afforded by this façade allows for the incorporation of expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, optimizing natural light throughout the living spaces. This dual approach—leveraging light from both the rear and front façades—creates bright, airy interiors while preserving privacy and architectural integrity, setting a benchmark for thoughtful urban design.
