120 Storms Avenue is a new eight-story residential project situated at the corner of Storms Ave. and Nevins Street, located within the McGinley Square East Redevelopment Plan. This development serves as a catalyst for the transformation of the neighborhood, offering a variety of living spaces including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. It is designed to cater to both young professionals and families seeking modern living within an evolving community.

The façade of the building was designed with sensitivity to its surroundings, carefully maintaining similar height and materiality to neighboring structures, ensuring a harmonious integration with the streetscape. The design is composed of two volumes: the lower four floors are clad in brick, reflecting the character of the existing buildings. At the fifth floor, a 10-foot setback balcony breaks the continuity of the brick façade, transitioning to metal and Parklex panels on the upper floors. This shift creates a visual contrast that marks the transition from the existing scale to the new height, adding a modern touch to the overall design.

The project emphasizes openness and connectivity, with well-designed circulation and ample outdoor space. The building features expansive decks and a landscaped rooftop with amenities including a barbecue area, sunbathing area, dog park, yoga space, lounge, and pergola. These outdoor features are aimed at promoting an active lifestyle and fostering a strong sense of community among the future residents.
