Family-Home
This single-family house is located in Escobar, Buenos Aires, with a southwest-facing entrance and a lake at the back, offering a picturesque view to the northeast. The design concept revolves around the idea of rotated boxes, strategically positioned to maximize both lake access and sun exposure.
The ground floor is an open-plan space that seamlessly extends into the backyard, connecting directly to the lake. It houses the common areas and features a traditional "gallery" – a space for recreation and contemplation, typical of Buenos Aires country homes. This gallery acts as a transitional zone between the interior and the surrounding nature.
The first floor is dedicated to private areas, with the bedrooms oriented to the east and west, optimizing natural light and ventilation. A sculptural staircase connects both floors, serving as a striking design element that stands apart from the box-like volumes while also acting as an independent link between the different spaces.
