This single-family house is situated in a rural area of LGR As Cruces, PQ Pineira, Ribadeo, Galicia, Province of Buenos Aires, with a south-west facing entrance and a lake at the back, to the north-east. The design is based on the concept of rotated volumes, strategically oriented to take full advantage of both the lake views and optimal sunlight exposure.
The ground floor is an open space that seamlessly flows into the backyard and provides direct access to the lake. It houses the common areas and features a traditional "gallery," a space for recreation and contemplation that serves as an intermediate zone between the interior of the house and the surrounding nature. On the first floor, the private areas are positioned in a rotated volume, ensuring that all the bedrooms enjoy favorable east/west orientation for natural light and ventilation.
A sculptural staircase connects the two levels, standing out as a distinct architectural feature. This stair not only connects the volumes but also projects outside the structure, offering a striking visual link between the different parts of the house.
