The design concept prioritizes the preservation and enhancement of the green area, ensuring that the park remains one of Budapest's most significant green spaces. The goal is to encourage both residents and visitors to fully embrace and enjoy the park's presence. By emphasizing the environmental benefits the park provides to the city, the project aims to integrate seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
The loss of park space is minimized through the strategic use of green terraces, ramps, and deep cantilevers, resulting in a building footprint that has minimal impact on the landscape. The ramped landscape design not only helps blend the structure into the park but also allows natural light to penetrate into the lower levels, enhancing the overall connection between the built and natural environments.
